Six Conahy camogie players backboned the Kilkenny Minor camogie team in their two recent championship games. Last Sunday Kilkenny scored a 0-15 to 0-10 victory over Clare at a Clare venue while the previous week Kilkenny defeated Waterford 0-13 to 0-5 in Thomastown.

Five Conahy players started last Sunday against Clare – Ruth Phelan, Ellen Gunner, Amy Brennan, Sofia Kerr and Emma Mulhall, while Ciara Brennan was a substitute.

Well done to all involved and good luck for the remainder of the championship.

Congratulations also to Meadbh Walsh who was part of the DCU Dóchas Éireann panel that won the Ashbourne Cup by defeating UCD in the final on Sunday last.
